Twee Sleutels builds dual-boiler espresso machines from brass, steel and Dutch stubbornness. Each one is assembled, tuned and test-pulled by a single maker in our canal-side workshop.
Named after the places that keep this city running: its canals, its university and its one stubborn windmill.
We took our name from the crossed keys on Leiden's coat of arms. One key stands for the old trade of metalwork, the other for the obsession with a better cup.
Every machine leaves our Haven workshop signed by the person who built it. If it ever needs work, it comes back to the same bench.
